About
I'm a software engineer with over 20 years of experience building, scaling, and fixing the infrastructure that development teams depend on every day. My specialty is systems in motion — taking infrastructure that's already running in production and making it faster, smarter, or more automated without breaking what the business depends on today.
I spent the first half of my career mastering Software Configuration Management and build systems at enterprise scale. Over the last decade I've extended that foundation into cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and CI/CD automation across Kubernetes, OCI, OpenShift, and Jenkins. Most recently I've been introducing AI agent workflows and LLM-driven automation into established production pipelines — finding the seams where modern capabilities can be added without rewriting what works.
I work independently, communicate at any level of technical depth, and bring the same thoroughness to a critical production incident as to long-term architectural planning. I hold an M.S. in Statistics from UC Davis and a B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Berea College.
